The Inaugural Diffie Classic: A Golf & Music Tribute Event to honor the legacy of Joe Diffie

The inaugural Diffie Classic brought together 37 teams, nearly 20 sponsors, and a community bound by golf, music, and the spirit of Joe Diffie. What started as an idea became a full-scale celebration—one that proved just how powerful this movement can be.

From the first tee shot to the last note, the entire event carried something fresh. It wasn’t perfect, but it was about the laughter, the mullets, the music, and the families who came out to be part of something special.

This year was made possible because so many stepped up:

• The players, who filled the course with excitement and camaraderie.

• The sponsors, who gave generously and believed in a first-year vision.

• The families and friends, who made it feel like more than a tournament—it felt like home.

• The volunteers and staff, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

Most importantly, we raised funds for the Next Response Foundation here in Nashville, Tennessee, directly supporting programs for their community of veterans.

This is only the beginning. Next year, the Diffie Classic will return—bigger, louder, stronger, and even more unforgettable.
